Racer's dozen for dad Adam

A MACCLESFIELD runner and father of two has embarked on a gruelling yearlong endurance challenge to raise money and awareness for homelessness charity Shelter.

Adam Ross is taking part in the Track Global “12 in 12” challenge, which involves running 12 organised races over 12 consecutive months, pushing both physical and mental limits while documenting the journey publicly to inspire others and raise funds for a cause close to his heart.

The challenge is made up of pre-organised monthly races held throughout the year. Rather than focusing on a single standout performance, it demands long-term consistency which requires Adam to constantly train, recover and compete month after month, regardless of weather, fatigue or if everyday life commitments get in his way.
