SHEPSHED were at home in the Premier Division to Houghton & Thurnby and after the toss they were put into bat.

After their 50 overs Shepshed finished on 258 for 9 with Ben Clarke top scoring with 79, Paddy Hopkins scored 68, Liam Greer hit 26 and Jaylen Francis scored 20.

For Houghton & Thurnby Keshav Sthanakiya took 3 for 49 from 9 overs, Aadill Ali took 2 for 24 from 10 overs, Uday Modhwadia took 2 for 60 from 10 overs and Adam Wilkinson took 1 for 26 from 8 overs.

In reply the Shepshed bowlers dug deep and after 49.4 overs they had won the game in an absolute thriller as they bowled Houghton & Thurnby out for 245.

For Shepshed Jaylen Francis took 3 for 62 from 9 overs, Will Goss took 2 for 23 from 10 overs, Sam Wier took 2 for 55 from 7.4 overs and Ben Clarke took 1 for 23 from 3 overs.
