You are heading out next year with new comedy tour The Fall Guy. Is comedy your first love?

- MARION MCMULLEN

Comedy is probably the bedrock of everything else that I do. It’s the thing I have done the longest as well and have the most experience in, but I kind of like everything I do for different reasons. I don’t really pri-oritise one thing over the other.

A lot of people that I really like, and have been a big fan of, have been kind and helpful with their advice and wisdom.

Jason Manford put me on stage when I think I was 11. It was a gig at St George’s Hall in Bradford in front of 2,500 people.

(Laughs) Fair play to Jason. I don’t know whether I would have that amount of faith in an 11-year-old comic supporting me on my new tour.

Jason is still a good pal and I’m very grateful for that early experience. One of those things about starting young is that you are impervious to the stage fright a little bit. I just enjoyed it.

What is your strongest memory of appearing on Britain's Got Talent in 2013?
