Inspiration behind dementia Christmas single has died

Pauline, who featured in a SpudBros video which went viral in spring this year, has passed away at the age of 83.

Originally from Lancaster she moved to Preston in the late 1960s and settled in the Fulwood area.

The jacket potato Nelson brothers and family have paid tribute to Pauline, who had been living with dementia, and her family.

It was Pauline’s visit to the Flag Market with her husband which is behind the recent single which has seen the TikTok sensations team up with Vicky McClure’s Our Dementia Choir.
