Historic pub to re-open after extensive renovation

Renovation works are on track to bring a muchloved Preston pub back into use.
The Old Black Bull has been closed since Greene King put it on the market in December last year.
An experienced landlady is being brought in by the Inns and Leisure group to run the Friargate pub.
Yvonne Stringfellow is the new manager for the pub and has been overseeing an extensive period of renovation works which began in the summer when the pub was purchased.
She said: "It's been an extensive renovation, replacing all the electrics and plumbing and stripping all the fittings back to the originals.
