WARD: WE WON'T BE HOLDING BACK

CARLA Ward has promised a “gung-ho” performance against Slovenia at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in June if Turkey can't do Ireland a favour against Slovenia this evening.

Ireland take on Greece at 7.45pm tonight at Tallaght, but all eyes will be on the earlier kick-off in Group 2, where Turkey host leaders Slovenia at 5pm Irish time.

As things stand, Ireland could win their three remaining games and still finish second, as in their head-to-head against the table-toppers, Slovenia hold a huge advantage thanks to their shock 4-0 win in February.
