HARVEY VALE was a relieved man after his 'redemption' goal.

The former Chelsea winger was on the verge of being hooked before his dramatic late winner sealed a third straight victory.

Boss Julien Stephan had a late change of heart as he was about to bring Kader Dembele on for Vale (above), who said: "I should have scored one in the first half so it felt good to redeem myself.

"It fell to me perfectly and I think the lads know I've got that one in the locker. It was great to see it go into the top corner.
