IT IS jarring that a man who has caused such division as a world leader could be awarded a Nobel Peace Prize.
Donald Trump finds out today whether his bid to be awarded the accolade is successful.
He claims to have ended seven wars, including brokering the 20-point peace plan between Israel and Hamas for the Gaza ceasefire.
Nominations closed in January, shortly after he returned to office and long before he took meaningful action in his second term.
But he was nominated by Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu as well as leaders in Pakistan, Malta, Ukraine and Cambodia.
