GAMBLERS bet a whopping £2.5million on Jesus Christ returning in 2025, as the Daily Star revealed this week. Those who wagered against the Messiah coming back were quids in with a tidy 5.5% profit. But it's not the first time someone's taken an unlikely gamble. Here MEG JORSH looks at some of history's craziest bets...

Breast in show: Pro gambler Brian Zembic was playing backgammon in 1996 when an argument broke out over breast implants.

His friend Jobo insisted they must be hard to live with - and bet $100,000 (around £153k in today's money) that Brian wouldn't get his own. Not only did the Canadian win, he lived with his 38C assets for 19 years before they were finally removed in 2016.
