SICK OF THEIR ANTICS
-
MY parents believe in free love and multiple partners.
For as long as I can remember they've had other boyfriends and girlfriends.
It was usual to come home from school to find Dad enjoying a three-in-abed romp or for my mum to be nude in the garden stroking a couple of male admirers. I learned to grab some food, go up to my room and put my headphones on.
Now I’m married in a home of our own. My parents laugh at how conventional we are.
My husband and his mate have just finished converting a barn on our property.
We want to rent it out, but my parents are demanding first dibs. They're talking about selling their place to be near us.
But they will expect to carry on swinging and partying as usual - and I don’t want that.
