Boss Wilder runs off stress as Blades do the derby double

SPECIAL BREW

CHRIS WILDER admitted it took an early-morning run to clear his head before his Sheffield United side completed a derby double and moved back into the top two.

Rhian Brewster's second-half goal was enough to seal the win that lifted Wilder's men level on points with leaders Leeds and dented Sheffield Wednesday's play-off hopes.

And boyhood Blades fan Wilder (circle) admitted a first derby double over their city rivals since 2005-06 carried extra significance.

The United boss said: “It's amazing, we weren't even thinking about going top of the division today. It was 'we have the chance of doing the Sheffield double.'
