Gers hit record revenues of £94.1m - up seven per cent from last year - and brought their operating costs down by £4m. They also posted a pre-player-trading profit of £2.7m. Overall losses for the year ending in June hit almost £15m but DIDN'T include summer transfers.

Rangers managed to recoup around £21m for Hamza Igamane, Cyriel Dessers and Jefte. However, they forked out fees on new players as ex-boss Russell Martin revamped the squad.
