A FORMER murder cop turned TV detective is setting up his own incident room opposite the home of shot bank manager Alistair Wilson in a bid to finally nail his killer.

Peter Bleksley, star of hit Channel 4 show Hunted, will spend three days in Nairn to mark the 21st anniversary of the unsolved murder.

He believes someone has information which could help uncover the truth and is pleading for locals to help him.

Former Met detective is setting up a base in the Havelock Hotel, just yards from where dad-of-two Alistair was shot.

Police previously said a planning dispute between Alistair and the hotel's owners could be linked to his death.

Alistair was gunned down on the steps of his home in Crescent Road on November 28, 2004.
