Dad of victim hits out after guilty plea delay

Daily Record

A DAD has slammed the decision not to jail a man after his five-year-old son was killed in a horror crash.

- BY JOHN-PAUL CLARK

Theo Crampsey was travelling in his mum's car when he was killed in a three-vehicle smash in Inverness.

The boy was rushed to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow but passed away the following day.

Shattered father Finbar said Theo's death "left a hole that can never be filled" as he carries on with life for the sake of his family.

But he is furious that the killer driver last week escaped a prison sentence over the crash in 2023.
