Guehi reckons he has gone from Palace to English kings with City deal

MARC GUEHI reckons he has joined the best club in England after completing his £30million move to Manchester City.

The England international flew into Manchester on a private jet on Sunday to undergo a medical and put the finishing touches to the deal.

Former Crystal Palace captain Guehi has signed a contract worth £200,000 a week that will keep him at the Etihad until 2031.

Guehi is ineligible for tonight's Champions League clash at Bodo/Glimt and is expected to make his debut against Wolves this weekend.

The 25-year-old - who has won 26 England caps and is expected to be a key part of Thomas Tuchel’s squad for this summer's World Cup - snubbed a host of other clubs to join City because of boss Pep Guardiola and the chance to win trophies.

He said: “I am really happy and incredibly proud to be a Manchester City player.

“This move feels like the culmination of all the hard work I have put into my career.

“I am now at the best club in England and part of an unbelievable squad. It feels good to be able to say that.
