Winger Dom is fighting fit after a nightmare illness that left him in hospital for weeks

RAPID Dom Young finally pulls an England jersey back on tomorrow after a "nightmare" left him hospitalised for weeks.

The electric winger has not featured for his country since lighting up the 2022 World Cup.

He returned home from starring with Aussie side Newcastle Knights last autumn to feature in a Test series against Tonga but only got as far as Leeds General Infirmary.

Young, set to resume against Samoa in Wigan, was left in agony after a sinus infection spread to his brain in a frightening experience.

He recalled: "It was definitely bad. It was weird, really.

"You don't expect those things to happen to you. I was in hospital for a while. Three weeks here, I think, although I don't remember exactly.
