Versatile Amad to get new contract

RUBEN AMORIM says Manchester United will hand Amad a new contract after hailing him as one of the players who has impressed him the most.

Winger Amad is out of contract at the end of this season, although his current deal does contain an option to trigger a one-year extension.

But Amorim suggested the 22-year-old will be handed an improved new deal, rather than an extension, after making an instant impact under him.
