King's message to liberated Guernsey

PRINCESS Anne delivered a message on behalf of the King as she attended a parade to com- memorate the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Guernsey.
On St Peter Port seafront, the Princess Royal read commemorations from her brother, praising the islanders' resolve in the face of Nazi tyranny.
Anne, accompanied on the trip by her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, also gave a reading during a service at Town Church.
