Antonio stable after wrecking £260k Ferrari

WEST Ham striker Michail Antonio is recovering from surgery after suffering multiple leg fractures when he crashed his Ferrari.

The 34-year-old was in a stable condition in hospital after it took firefighters almost an hour to free him from the wreckage of his £260,000 supercar on Saturday.

Sources close to the player say he is lucky to be alive after his Ferrari FF spun off a slippery road into trees.

Other drivers alerted fire crews and Antonio was taken to a Central London hospital.

His ex-wife Debbie travlled from her Manchester home to be at his bedside.
