CHRIS Packham says he I was targeted by obsessed Taylor Swift fans after he criticised the star's use of private planes.

The singer reportedly racked up 178,000 miles on her two jets last year during her soldout globe-trotting Eras Tour.

And Swifties swooped in to defend their hero.

Campaigner Chris, who has been presenting Autumnwatch specials on The One Show this week, said: "They're obsessed with her, aren't they?

"It was, 'Don't pick on Taylor, go and pick on someone else, and 'Why are you picking on her, she does so much good'.
