Versatility is central to Silk Cafe Resto's appeal. The café is perfect for coffee dates, casual hangouts, proper meals, solo “me time,” private events, or professional meetings. Every aspect of the café, from furniture layout and lighting to décor and overall flow, has been meticulously designed to create a serene and welcoming environment where guests feel completely at ease. The vision behind Silk Cafe Resto is deeply personal. Its founder, Gayathri Jayasinghe, a seasoned haute couture designer, had long dreamed of establishing a premium café to complement her longstanding clientele at Silk Wraps by Gees, her couture studio which has been running for over a decade. She envisioned a space where the design studio and café could coexist under one roof, creating a multifaceted lifestyle destination. Relocating her studio to Kirula Road, near Asiri Hospital, provided the perfect space to turn this dream into reality.
