THE Princess of Wales hails the acts of kindness that make the world a better place in a letter to guests invited to her Christmas carol concert this Friday.

Catherine’s fifth annual Together at Christmas service at Westminster Abbey will honour love in all its forms — within families, through friendships, across communities and in kindness to strangers.

In a personal message to each of the 1,600 guests, the mum-of-three praises the quiet gestures of love taking place all around us, through words of comfort, friendly conversation or simply just being there.

She says: “These simple acts of care might seem small but they contribute to the beautiful tapestry of life to which we all belong.

“Christmas is a time that reminds us how deeply our lives are woven together. Just as the roots of trees share strength beneath the soil, unseen but vital, so too do we.

“We are drawn by an instinctive pull towards belonging and connection.”
