STRATFORD Town's Arden Garages Stadium was the place for drama on Saturday as the Bards stormed to a 6-1 win against a St Ives Town side who finished with nine men.
Lewis Ison opened the scoring for the hosts with a crisp effort on 13 minutes but it was all-square at the break after former Stratford defender Jordan Williams headed in a corner.
The half finished with the visitors having skipper Michael Richens sent off for an elbow and this helped swing the game in the home side's favour.
Dan Lafferty and substitute Henry Landers bagged two goals apiece with one of man of the match Lafferty's coming from the spot following Duncan Idehen's last-man challenge that led to him being sent off. Ty Deacon was also on target.
