Community unites against GBV at Klip Road Clinic's open day

KLIP Road Clinic hosted an open day and protest, which focused on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Men's Health awareness and mental health.

A SILENT protest to highlight that men also face mental health issues and abuse was held along Klip Road.

The event at the weekend brought together healthcare workers, local stakeholders, and residents, focusing on promoting wellness, preventative care, and access to essential health services.
Clinic manager, Thabisa Blayi, said during the session, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about services such as chronic care management, maternal and child health, mental health support, immunisations, Youth & Adolescent services, and screening for conditions like HIV, TB, diabetes, and hypertension.
