Positive signs for Eustace and Brewster is on board

JOHN Eustace says Derby County delivered a positive performance as they rounded off their pre-season campaign with a 2-0 victory over Atromitos at Pride Park Stadium. A goal in each half from Corey Blackett-Taylor and Kenzo Goudmijn sealed the win ahead of the big kick-off in the Championship way against Stoke City on Saturday.
-
Blackett-Taylor opened the scoring from the spot after the winning the penalty himself as he continued his excellent preseason form.
And Goudmijn grabbed the second straight from a corner kick.
Striker Carlton Morris was given 65 minutes, while Ryan Nyambe played his first 45 of preseason.
“It was a positive performance,” said Rams head coach Eustace.
“It was vital we got some good minutes into a couple of players. Carlton (Morris) got 65 minutes, which was great, and Ryan Nyambe played his first 45 minutes for three or four months as well, which was pleasing.
"The attitude of the boys has been great. Five players involved were not involved as much as they wanted to be at the end of last season.
