Enterprise centre demand rises

STAFFORDSHIRE County Council's enterprise centres welcomed 36 new businesses in 2025, seeing a rise in demand for flexible workspace.

Latest figures show that the council now supports 261 companies across its eight enterprise centres in Burton, Stafford, Cannock Chase and Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The centres provide a range of offices, workshops and industrial units, alongside bookable meeting rooms and hot desks available to anyone who needs professional space to work.
Demand for flexible working facilities has grown sharply, with meeting room and hot desk bookings increasing by a third during 2025.
