BURTON'S nine game unbeaten run in Regional 1 North West was ended as they suffered a 61-17 away defeat against second-placed Huddersfield.

Tristan De Jager, James Davies and John Kirwan scored tries for the Crofters, while Will Simpson added a conversion, but they were second best against the team above them in the standings.
"Fair play to Huddersfield and congratulations to them because they were outstanding on the day and really showed their quality across all aspects of the game for a full 80 minutes," said Burton director of rugby Harry Titley.
