THE top five teams in the Gloucestershire County League are on four points after two games, including Hanham Athletic after their 3-1 home win against Broadwell Amateurs.

In a first half short on clear chances, Hanham took the lead on 43 minutes with Jordan Rickman starting the move and finishing it from a fine cross by Cjay Summerline.

On 65 minutes, Broadwell equalised when a poor shot found its way to Jamie Belfitt, who finished into the corner of the net.

A free-kick by Preston Webb was headed in by Karim Rendall to restore Hanham’s lead in the 80th minute, and right on full-time great work by Rendall set up Summerline for Hanham's third.

Cribbs Reserves welcomed Tytherington Rocks to the Lawns for their first home game of the season, and it was the visitors who ran out 2-0 winners.

The deadlock was broken in the 75th minute when Ollie Briggs latched on to a through ball and fired past Corey Weir.

With Cribbs pushing for an equaliser, Rocks broke away anda cool finish from sub Tom Bidder made the final score 2-0.
