Opportunity knocks for county investors in mayor's ambition

THE new Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire has highlighted at an investors' conference £3.6bn investment opportunities in the county. Reform UK’s Dame Andrea Jenkyns became the county's first directly-elected Mayor this month.

Last week, she and the Greater Lin-colnshire Combined County Authority (GLCCA) attended the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) in Leeds.

In a speech, Dame Andrea highlighted 17 different investment opportunities in the county.

She has also reiterated ambitions to get more devolution powers and cash for Greater Lincolnshire “as soon as possible”, and is developing plans to fulfil a policy pledge of establishing an annual ‘Great Exhibition’ of Lincolnshire, promoting its businesses.
