Cash next in line for a new deal
Birmingham Mail
|August 14, 2025
VILLA have intimated they plan to extend Matty Cash's contract.
The 28-year-old entered the final two years of his deal earlier this summer, so Villa are keen to extend it.
Cash arrived from Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2020 in a move worth £16 million.
He has since made a total of 180 appearances for Villa, 148 of which have come in the Premier League.
Last season, Cash made his Champions League debut in a 0-0 draw against Juventus at Villa Park, before starting both of the quarterfinal legs against Paris Saint-Germain.
