Affordable homes plan boost thanks to mayor's fund

MORE than 100 new affordable homes are to be built in the region with a £2.6m fund from the West Midlands mayor.

The funding will see the former General Electric Power Conversion UK site in Projects Drive, Rugby, regenerated for housing, including 72 social rent properties.
