The head of Ayr United’s women’s setup has hung up her boots.

Clare Docherty retired following Sunday's Ayrshire derby defeat against Kilmarnock, which officially saw Ayr relegated back to the Championship.
Posting on social media, Doc said: "I don’t quite know how to put it in to words in a way that will sum up my career.
