A Troon couple celebrated SEVENTY YEARS of wedded bliss and shared their advice on how to have a long and happy marriage.

Marjorie and James Craig marked their platinum wedding anniverary surrounded by 42 close family and friends at a glittering celebration meal.

The happy couple both insisted this week that you should never go to bed on an argument - a marriage mantra that's served them well over the last seven decades.

The Post reported on their golden wedding celebrations 10 years ago where we revealed that the couple fell into a whirlwind romance when drummer James caught sight of showgirl Marjorie performing at the Gaiety Theatre in 1955.
