Because of this, BMW has been named Newsweek's World's Greatest Auto Disruptors Powertrain Disruptor of the Year.
The BMW iX3 SUV and i3 sedan are the first of the German automaker's Neue Klasse vehicles. They were a multiyear lift, designed to come to market as a pronouncement of the future of the automaker and its technology capabilities.
