COME December 19-21, 2025, the pharmaceutical world will descend on Bengaluru, not just for another congress, but for a high-stakes convergence of technology, education, and industry - the 74th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC).
Hosted at the world-class Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), this edition promises to be a watershed moment for India's pharma ingredients ecosystem.
A Vision Defined by Innovation: “Educate, Innovate, Empower”
The 74th IPC is anchored on a timely and powerful theme: “AI & Technology in Pharma: Educate, Innovate, Empower.” This is not just a slogan it reflects how the Indian pharma industry especially its ingredients sector is rapidly blending traditional capacity with next-generation digital tools.
Scale, Reach, and Participation: A Mega-Event
IPC 2025 is not a niche academic conference - it's a full-spectrum pharmaceutical congress. Organised by the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association (IPCA), and hosted by the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), it expects over 12,000 delegates across three days.
Its expo component — the 74th IPC Pharma Expo is being heavily promoted as a “world-class premier platform,” bringing together innovators, manufacturers, suppliers, academicians, and regulators. The event is expected to draw some 15,000 plus pharma professionals and more than 100 exhibitors from across sectors.
The choice of Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) is strategic. The venue is not just large — it is also India’s first LEED-certified green exhibition facility. With 77,200 sq m of indoor exhibition space, five interconnected halls, modern conference infrastructure, food courts, and ample parking, it is designed to handle a major, 3-day professional congress with ease.
Bengaluru itself is a fitting city: a biotech and pharma innovation hub, with a strong academic presence, and excellent infrastructure. The Local Organizing Committee underscores this as a chance to “foster interdisciplinary dialogue” between academia, industry, regulators, and students.
