- VICTORIA WILSON

Never FORGET

TAKE THAT

NEW FROM TUESDAY 27 JANUARY, NETFLIX DOCUMENTARY

The story of one of the UK's most successful boy bands is charted in much-anticipated Netflix docuseries Take That. Featuring new interviews with current stars Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen alongside archival material of former members Jason Orange and Robbie Williams, the three-parter explores the quintet's arrival on the music scene in 1990 and how they became pop idols two years later with a cover of 1975 Tavares track It Only Takes a Minute, followed by their own songs such as 1995 hits Back for Good and Never Forget.

The behind-the-scenes portrait also turns the spotlight on Robbie's departure in 1995 and the group's split in 1996, the 2006 reunion as a four-piece with songs like Rule the World and Greatest Day, Robbie's return in 2010, and the transformation into today's lineup.

Here, Gary, 55, Howard, 57, and Mark, who turns 54 on 27 January, look back on the standout moments...

What can we expect from this trip down memory lane?

GARY It tells the Take That story in a real way. From our shaky start to the No 1s, to the years off and then our comeback, this series shares each of our perspectives on the 35 years we've been together.
