When actress Torrey DeVitto linked up with director Jared LaPine, she knew she’d met her match.

“You get to a place in your life where it’s like, ‘I know what I want,’” the Chicago Med star, 40, tells Us exclusively. “We were always on the same page about what we wanted out of life and our morals, which was a huge green flag for me.” LaPine popped the question at their Michigan farm last September after six months of dating, and now, a year later, they’re newly married and expecting their first child together. “A lot of times when I’m just sitting here pregnant by myself, I just picture holding her and smelling her and I get so excited,” DeVitto tells Us
