"I'm just happy-go-lucky, cheech," offers server Jason, who's new to SUR alongside his cousin Chris. The aspiring actor laughs when he adds that the group "would say I'm the sexy stud"... which is not wrong, considering the fact that he lands in a love triangle with Shayne and Angelica. "When you hang around people long enough, things happen," Jason explains to Us of dating within the SUR crew. Even his own cousin says he's a "lover boy" who "got himself in a few pickles" — kinda funny when you know that they were both on Netflix's Dated and Related in 2022! On VPR, "You're gonna be like, 'What the f**k?'" Jason, 31, promises. "It takes a lot to drop my jaw — but it's jaw-dropping."

Reality TV was never a dream for Venus — “I’ve always been more focused on being a pop culture icon” — but the staffer of two-and-a-half years figured why not? “I didn’t realize the drama would be, like, the whole time,” he tells Us. Though Venus, 27, tries to be “reasonable” and there for everyone, staying neutral may not be possible, especially with tension between his ride-or-die, Natalie, and couple Marcus and Kim. The result: “I will sacrifice friendships for my moral compass.” Big-picture, he adds, “People will be shockingly surprised how I, as a gay man, navigate a straight environment.”
