When Nicholas Morgenstern opened his ice cream shop in 2014, he did so while thinking of the childhood summers he spent with his grandparents in the '80s. PEANUT BUTTER CUP Makes 1 quart

1/3 cups whole milk 1 cup heavy cream 2 tbsp. glucose syrup 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup whole milk powder ¼ tsp. kosher salt 1/2 cup powdered sugar ½ cup creamy peanut butter 1/4 cup Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, chopped

1. In a saucepan, heat milk, cream and glucose syrup over medium, stirring, until bubbles appear and temp. reaches 180°F.
