The vibrant city of Hyderabad recently hosted the third edition of the prestigious ‘Restaurant India’ hosted their 3rd edition of its Leadership Series at Trident, Hyderabad on December 12, 2024.

The event brought together top restaurateurs, policy makers, chefs, and consultants to discuss the rapidly evolving food and beverage (F&B) industry.

The conference featured engaging panel discussions, including 5 CEOs on Investment, Innovation, Impact, Intent, and Industry and sessions on topics like Menu Innovation and The Rise of New-Age Resto-Bars. Ritu Marya, Editor-in-Chief of Entrepreneur India and Restaurant India, highlighted the region’s potential, saying, “The restaurant market in Andhra Pradesh has increased. Many brands are expanding or moving out of Andhra Pradesh market, making it a great opportunity for expansion and investment.”
Biryani: A Cultural and Commercial Staple
Discussing menu innovation, Gautam Gupta, MD & CEO of Paradise Biryani, said, “Biryani is one of the single largest items selling on food platforms. In India, there are 200 types of biryani. We stand for Hyderabadi biryani, which is a true cuisine, and it gave us dividends.” Gupta emphasized the importance of staying true to local flavors while expanding across South India. He further added, “Hyderabad’s biryani culture is unmatched, and we ensure every outlet delivers the same taste and quality, which has been key to our growth.”
