EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH MR. SOLOMON EWANEHI, MD OF SOLEWANT GROUP

Mr. Solomon Ewanehi, MD of Solewant Group, has been speaking to Offshore Africa Magazine about Solewant's history and bold plans for the future.

Congratulations on the successful hosting of the 8th Energy Summit in Port Harcourt. Tell us about the Solewant brand. How did it all begin?

Thank you. Solewant's journey began 24 years ago with a vision to provide innovative, reliable, and high-quality solutions to the energy industry. We started small, acquiring mobile fabrication and coating plants that allowed us to deliver in-situ coatings directly on project sites. This gave us the flexibility to meet clients' needs on pipelines and pipe fittings, and it laid the foundation for our growth.

Today, we are proud to offer comprehensive pipe coating solutions, including anti-corrosion coatings, Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE), Polyurethane, three-layer polyethylene (3LPE), polypropylene (3LPP to 5LPP), and concrete weight coatings (CWC). Recognizing the untapped potential in Nigeria's line pipe milling industry, we invested in a 139,000-square-meter state-of-the-art facility in Alode Eleme-Onne, Rivers State. This facility integrates manufacturing, specialty coating, construction, and installation solutions for oil, gas, water, chemical, and allied industries.

Our industrial park is one of Africa's largest, housing cutting-edge plants for multilayer pipe coating, concrete weight coating, and steel pipe manufacturing. Additionally, our metal fabrication facility and advanced laboratory ensure we deliver unparalleled quality. Solewant's journey is a testament to our commitment to innovation, client satisfaction, and excellence.
