Honda is set to launch its first EV as it gets ready a 10 model launch offensive in place and makes India a top priority focus market
Honda has made India one of its top three priority markets and is set to launch 10 or more new models in the country by 2030.
The first of these will be the Zero Alpha SUV that it showcased along with its Zero model cars at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 last month.
While we will talk about the Zero Alpha SUV in detail later on in the article, let's take a look at what these 10 (at least) new models will bring. These 10 or more cars will start coming to the market in India starting from 2027 and will consist of both premium as well as mass market products. While at least seven of these 10 will be SUVs, they will combine the full gamut of powertrains ranging from ICE to BEVs and HEVs as well, while PHEVs are also being considered.
