A deal with the devil

Pearl partners with Khulekani after discovering that her business partner Suffocate murdered her dad David.

If Khulekani (Mncedisi Shabangu) could, he’d have killed his business rival Suffo (Mduduzi Mabaso) long ago and not just for Suffo’s affair with his wife Nandi (Nompilo Gwala) in August this year. But if Khulekani kills Suffo, he loses Nandi for good. So he gets someone else to do his dirty work – someone with motive themself to see Suffo dead. “Khulekani tells Pearl (Petronella Tshuma) that Suffo murdered her father David Genaro (Jamie Bartlett) in February this year,” says Petronella. At first, Pearl is in disbelief as Suffo promised that he wasn’t involved. But Khulekani comes prepared and gives her video footage of Suffo shooting David. “Pearl is fuming and she and Khulekani team up,” warns Petronella.
