Die wildbedryfkalender is in 2016 afgesluit met die Professionele Jagtersvereniging van Suid-Afrika (Phasa) se 39ste konvensie en algemene jaarvergadering. Tydens hierdie konvensie het lede bewys dat eenheid in hul bedryf wel moontlik is. Die wildbedryf bestaan egter uit die wildboerdery- sowel as die jagbedryf − die een is afhanklik van die ander vir hul voortbestaan. Rolspelers soos Wildbedryf SA (WRSA), Phasa, Konfederasie van Jagtersverenigings van SA (Chasa), Suid-Afrikaanse Jagters- en Wildbewaringsvereniging (SAJWV), Suid-Afrikaanse Roofdiertelersvereniging (Sapa), Wildprodusentevereniging (WPA) en ander rolspelers in die bedryf sal moet saam sit en besluit wat goed is vir die bedryf en nie net wat goed is vir hulself nie ...
