22 years living the (one) world Another lap around the sun. And can you believe it, we’re already 22 years old! 22 years of eternal gratitude. For the splendour we’ve experienced, for the path we’ve travelled - all of it full of struggles and wonders - for the long and promising partnerships we’ve forged, for the reputation we’ve created with the V&G brand. The truth is that we feel proud of our team and of every article we’ve shared with you. What an incredible journey we’ve been on! We consider ourselves part of those who read us every time we publish another issue. And this one, in particular, comes with a host of diverse interviewees. We spoke to 22 business leaders from renowned national and international companies and listened to their stories. From architecture to construction; from products to furniture; from insurance to consultancy; from fashion to cars; from tourism to wines, we were astonished by each of the personalities here and by the brands they have been able to create, maintain and reinvent. In addition, and as we so often do, we have chosen several other articles which also mark our 22nd anniversary. We travelled to Cuba on a journey back in time to the colourful houses and cars of the 1940s; we stopped off in Warsaw to the sound of Chopin, one of the world’s most famous composers; we relaxed at COMO Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos Islands; we sat behind the wheel of the Rolls-Royce Spectre, the British brand’s first electric vehicle; and we made a stop in Lisbon for a coffee at Brasileira do Chiado, one of the capital’s charming venues, after a visit to the Casa-Museu Amália Rodrigues, the singer who took «our» Fado to the world.
