As Vesak 2025 dawned, the sacred full moon cast a gentle glow over the southeastern wilds of Sri Lanka. This spiritual season, usually marked by lanterns and temple rituals, revealed a different kind of devotion in the wilderness around Arugambay and Buttala.

Designs have been revealed for Laheq, the first residential-led development at The Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. Developed by Red Sea Global (RSG) and designed by Foster + Partners, the project sensitively transforms the 400- hectare Laheq Island into a luxury green community.

The Poson Full Moon Pōya Day is drawing near, subsequent to the celebration of Vesak Full Moon Day. This significant occasion is uniquely commemorated in Sri Lanka. This occasion marks the arrival of Mahā Mahinda Arahat, the son of King Dharmāshoka of India. On this same occasion, King Ashōka sent eight other envoys to eight different countries simultaneously.
