Skinification in Vogue!

‘Skinification’ has become the latest ‘in trend’ word of late! For some time now, consumers have been looking for skincare - like benefits in their hair or make-up products. But, what does that mean?

Basically, consumers are looking for more ‘care’ in their hair or make-up products. More scalp-to -tips care that is deeply hydrating, moisturizing and even repairing for hair. In make-up, it would mean the inclusion of actives which offer sun protection, or deep hydration, or even those that fade pigmentation.

So, how about skinification of skin? Well, the idea is just the same - higher performing skincare, more result oriented, and giving faster results! More consumers than ever before are looking for these qualities in their skincare products as well as their therapists in salons. However, if these are found wanting, they don’t hesitate to turn to medical clinics / cosmetologists for solutions.
