With the prevailing COVID-19 crisis, cybercrime has catapulted many folds. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the priorities of chief information security officers (CISOs) of businesses and their teams.
The first one is protecting their work-from-home setting and workers on an unprecedented level and now businesses have told workers to stop travelling and organizing events in many places. They have suggested their staff members stay home. The other is retaining the integration, confidentiality, and availability of customer-facing network traffic as volumes spike as people are spending the most time at home.

It is quite likely that some major changes could become permanent or continue to prevail in other forms in the post-COVID-19 time. It is the right time for small businesses to think about their crisis management capabilities, create quick solutions to combat ongoing situation, and evaluate the implications in cybersecurity.
