Nicole Dunn, 52, snapped awake at 2 am. Her mind was racing, thinking about all the tasks she had to complete in the day ahead. Lying there, her thoughts swirling, it became impossible to unwind and fall back asleep.

Nicole first started having sleep issues in 1996 when she became a TV producer, but at the time, it was manageable. Then in 2009, she started her own company, Dunn Pellier Media, a fitness and wellness PR firm, and things got worse.
