HUGH'S KIDS TELL 'WE'LL LOOK AFTER YOU, DAD'

While the actor struggles to find his feet after his divorce, Ava and Oscar are as worried as his fans

It was a beautiful sunny day in New York when Aussie actor Hugh Jackman stepped out for coffee and croissants with his 18-year-old daughter Ava.

The happy sighting will come as a relief to worried fans after the star, 55, posted a series of lonely solo shots on social media -including one with what he called "sad eyes" - last month, prompting one fan to urge him to "talk to some of your real friends".

The father-daughter outing comes as no surprise to Hugh's inner circle, who say even his kids are a little worried about how their dad is coping with single life.

"Look, Hugh's doing a lot better now, but it's true he's not bounced back from that divorce as well as Deb has," a close family source tells Woman's Day.

"Everyone's noticed it, but he's not the type to walk away from almost three decades with someone without a few tears."
